At Little Dreamers Big Dreams, we are on a mission to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children living in poverty by supporting programs such as the Harold Robinson Foundation and United in Harmony. These programs provide children living in Watts, Compton and other impoverished and gang-ridden neighborhoods with unique and life changing camp retreats. These camps go beyond the ordinary by providing children with experiences they might never have access to otherwise.
The camps are located at beautiful campsites that are surrounded by nature and tranquility. From engaging activities to uplifting events, these camps are designed to boost self-esteem, foster new friendships, form community relationships even among rival schools, and instill the belief that there is a bright future ahead. The children learn that there is more in the world than what they experience on a daily basis. They learn that there are people who care about them, and by helping one another and members of their community, and by believing in themselves and working hard, they too can be successful and have bright futures.
Little Dreamers Big Dreams also provides essential items to these deserving children such as backpacks so they can have a good start to their school year, and clothes and toys during the holidays so they too can have a joyful holiday season.
